Cris

Born in Rome, Cristiana, creator of Cris, learned to knit as a child and continued throughout her adolescence.  At 18 she rented a knitting machine and was determined to establish her own company, however, without proper backing or staff, she put her dream on hold. At 20, Cristiana moved to the United States and gained unparalleled experience working as a designer in New York, Europe, and Asia.

When she noticed a void in the cashmere market for contemporary designer wear, Cristiana saw her opportunity to expand this extremely limited market and make her dream into a reality.  She created her cashmere line "Cris" to deviate from the typical "missy look" that other cashmere lines often have, and instead focused on fashion forward color pallets and cutting edge silhouettes.
